Guide on butterflies of Uruguay and their distribution in neighboring countries, which we found extremely interesting.
This would be the first work, in the form of a guide, which with more than 100 photographs, gives us a first sample of the best-known species, covering a total of 80 from Uruguay and its surroundings. The book begins with a series of instructions on how to use this guide, followed by an introduction in which we are given general information about Lepidoptera, general data about larvae and adults, about their biology, etc.
Within the main part of the work, each of the species considered are perfectly photographed in their natural environment, where they give us a general description of their size, habitat, flight height and main food plant, followed by a map of the known distribution of the species.
